Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Trade Connector (“we”, “us”) collects when you use algoconnector.com (the “Platform”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
• Verification data — a one-time code sent to your email/phone to confirm you control that address/number.
• MT5 connection details — a connection key and your MetaTrader 5 account ID, used only to link a generated Expert Advisor to your own broker account and to display your live balance, positions and trade history on your dashboard.
• Payment records — deposit/withdrawal amount, method, and a reference/transaction ID. We do not collect or store your card, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials — those are entered directly with our payment partner (Instamojo/Razorpay), never on our servers.
• Usage data — the strategies you describe when generating a bot, and basic technical logs (IP address, browser) used for security and troubleshooting.

2. How we use it

• To create and secure your account, and verify it’s really you.
• To generate, lock, and deliver your MQL5 Expert Advisor files.
• To show your live MT5 balance, trades and history on the dashboard.
• To process deposits/withdrawals and keep an accurate transaction record.
• To send service emails/SMS (verification codes, signal alerts, support replies) — never marketing without your consent.
• To detect fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary with:

• Payment gateways (Instamojo, Razorpay) — to process a deposit you initiate. They receive your name, email, phone and the amount; card/UPI credentials go directly to them, never to us.
• Email/SMS providers (Resend, Fast2SMS) — to deliver verification codes and account notifications.
• Law enforcement or regulators, only when legally required.

Your MT5 login/investor password is never sent to us or stored on our servers — the connection between your MT5 terminal and the Platform uses a locally-generated connection key instead.

4. Data retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after (typically up to 7 years for payment records) to meet accounting and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time — see Contact below — subject to what we must legally retain.

5. Your choices

• Access, correct, or request deletion of your data via Support.
• Withdraw phone/email verification and disable notifications from Account settings.
• Close your account at any time; open deposits remain visible in your history for your own records.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions are signed and expire, and payment confirmations are cryptographically verified (signature/webhook checks) before any balance is credited. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical measures to protect your data.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
